COVID-19 Safety Protocols:
We are so thrilled to welcome you back! While we were on pause we've been working on developing and implementing safety measures in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Here’s what we are doing to help maintain a safe and clean environment:
Face mask policy:
Clients and therapists will be required to wear face masks. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you. During your session the therapist will be wearing both a face mask and face shield.
Check in protocol:
A quick, simple, non-invasive temperature check and client screening will be performed on all guests upon arrival. Any person with a temperature reading higher than 99.9 degrees will be re-tested to confirm. If the reading is still high, guests will be asked to return when their temperature declines.
Hand sanitizing and washing protocol:
We have added touch-less soap, sanitizer and towel dispensers to our facility. Clients must wash their hands or apply hand sanitizer upon entry.
Social distancing guidelines must be observed unless during a treatment where in-session protocols have been implemented. Our waiting area is temporarily closed. You are asked to wait outside if you arrive early and will be buzzed in 5 minutes before your appointment time.
Appointment scheduling and payment:
We recommend using the online booking page to schedule and pay for your appointment. If this is not possible you can contact us directly. New clients can access and complete Health Intake form online and can request a Pre-Session consultation with me. Additionally, we have expanded payment methods to include Apple Pay, Venmo, Square and PayPal invoicing for a streamlined and contactless check-out process.
Treatment room, tools and products used will be cleaned and sanitized before/after each session with a complete change-over of linen/bedding and face cradle coverings. We've been using a professional medical linen company for several years and will continue to utilize their services. Therapist will be wearing both a face mask and face shield during treatment and will be changing and cleaning clothing/gear after each session. As per NYS Dept. of Health guidelines, Massage Therapists are required to be re-tested every 14 days while in Phase 3.
Clients are asked to use cleansing products provided prior to the session and to store personal effects in allocated storage bins. During your session you will be required to wear a face mask when in the face-up or the side-lying positions. While we cannot require clients be tested for COVID-19 we strongly encourage that you get tested for your safety, the safety of your therapist and fellow guests who may be at a higher-risk. COVID-19 testing information can be found here.
We will be cleaning and sanitizing our treatment rooms, restroom and common areas after each session with EPA approved hospital-grade disinfectant which will be used on surfaces and contact areas in addition to UV-C Light cleaning.
While no one knows how long it will take for things to get back to ‘normal,’ we are dedicated, prepared and excited to welcome you back. Together, we can and will make the most out of the current situation. We appreciate your continued loyalty and look forward to seeing you again soon!
In safety and health,
Liz Bennett, Owner
